Description

One tree in Villa Mirabello, Varese, Italy measures 360 cm in diameter and is 28 m high. Another, planted in 1658 near Wantage, Oxford in the UK, was still alive in 2002. The cedar is mentioned in the Old Testament, and Solomon’s First Temple was built from its timber.
