Description

This large, deciduous tree is often mistaken for maple as the foliage is similar in appearance. However, the leaves are arranged alternately on the stems whereas the leaves of Acer species grow opposite one another. The tree’s autumn colour ranges from fiery red, orange, and yellow to sumptuous purple.
