RIGA - Rural Income Generating Activities

Rural households in the developing world are involved in a variety of economic activities, as part of complex livelihood strategies. Agriculture, while remaining important, is not the sole nor, in some cases, necessarily the principal activity of the poor. The Rural Income Generating Activities (RIGA) project aims at promoting the understanding of the role of such activities for poverty reduction and development.

RePEc (Research Papers in Economics)

RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) is a collaborative effort of hundreds of volunteers in 89 countries to enhance the dissemination of research in Economics and related sciences. The heart of the project is a decentralized bibliographic database of working papers, journal articles, books, books chapters and software components, all maintained by volunteers. The collected data are then used in various services that serve the collected metadata to users or enhance it.

Research4Life

Research4Life is the collective name for five programmes – Hinari, AGORA, OARE, ARDI and GOALI – that provide developing countries with free or low-cost access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content online. Research4Life is a public-private partnership of WHO, FAO, UNEP, WIPO, ILO, ITCILO, Cornell and Yale Universities, the International Association of Scientific, Technical & Medical Publishers and up to 160 international publishers.
